Woodstock North Thunder Varsity struggled to get their offense going on Thursday, getting easily dispatched by Burlington Central, 13-0.
One bright spot for Woodstock North Thunder Varsity was a double by Felipe De Avila in the fourth inning. Darren Schneider also threw some pitches so that was cool.
Zak Zuiker led the Burlington Central to victory on the mound. He lasted four innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out eight. Kyle O’Neill threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Jacob Laha took the loss for Woodstock North Thunder Varsity. He surrendered eight runs on eight hits over three innings, striking out two.
Luke Freeman and De Avila each managed one hit to lead Woodstock North Thunder Varsity.
Burlington Central totaled nine hits. Adam Finstein, Kyle Fischer, and Samuelson each managed multiple hits for Burlington Central. Burlington Central didn’t commit a single error in the field. Colton Wallace had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
